individual counseling
Individual counseling is a collaborative process between you and the therapist. My goal is to provide an open, supportive and confidential environment for you to address the issues that are affecting you. Together, our goal is to facilitate change and improve quality of life. Therapy can help the client confront barriers that interfere with emotional and mental well-being. Ultimately, the outcome of therapy aims to increase positive feelings, improve self-esteem, and deepen self-awareness.
relationship (couple) counseling
Relationship counseling is the process of identifying and resolving conflict in the relationship. The goal is improving the quality of the relationship for both partners. We look at issues such as communication, intimacy and connection between the partners. My goal is to assist the couple change perceptions, modify dysfunctional behavior, increase emotional expression, improve communication, and promote strengths in the relationship.
family counseling
Family counseling focuses on relationships within the family system and takes place with other family members present. The family is seen as a "whole" system, rather than the sum of its individual members. Rather than viewing problems as owned and caused by one person, my goal in family therapy is to help identify the family patterns that have contributed to the issues presenting. Once we identify the patterns, we can work toward shifting those patterns and creating change.
emdr
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from many different treatment approaches. To date, EMDR therapy has helped millions of people of all ages relieve many types of psychological stress.

75 minute sessions: $195.00
